  • Applicant must be current paid memeber of the MO Junior Cattlemen's Association or the parent/guardian must be a current paid member of the MO Cattlemen's Association

Hagan Scholarship Foundation November 15, 2011
  • 3-year renewable scholarhsip in the amount of/or up to $10,000. Amount of the scholarship is determined by the adding the amount needed for Tuition & Fees, $1,000 for Books & Supplies, $5,000 for room and board, and $1,000 for personal expenses
  • To be eligible studnet must:
    • Enroll in a four year college the first semester after high school
    • Be a resident of the State of Missouri
    • Have attended as a junior and senior at an Eligible High School
    • Achieved a high school GPA of 3.5 or higher, have scored 23 or higher (composite score) on the ACT
    • Have an unmet finaicial need of $2,000 or more to attend college
    • Must not have been convicted of a felony
    • Must not be related to a Hagan Scholarship Foundation (HSF) employee or volunteer
  • Students must file a FAFSA application for school year 2011 using their family's 2010 tax information before the November 15th deadline. Once 2011 taxes have been filed, complete a FAFSA application for the 2012 school year.

  • $1,000 scholarships available
  • Applicant must be a high school senior who:
    • Maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
    • Works part-time for a minmum of 10 hours per week or 40 weeks per year
    • Be actively involved in community service acitivities
    • Demonstrates financial need (1040 form required)

  • 16 - $1,000 scholarships will be given to Missouri seniors who intend to pursue a career in criminal justice and will be attending a Missouri university or college

  • 12 - $2,000 scholarships available
  • Eligible applicants will be able to demonstrate their ambition and drive, determiniation to set and reach goals, repect for self, family and community, and show the ability to succeed in college.

Elks National Foundation - Legacy Award February 1, 2012 by noon
  • 250 - $1,000 scholarships, renewable for up to four years
  • You are eligible if you are a child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the order on or before April 1, 2009, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2009. The Elk must also be a paid-up member through March 31, 2012. Great-grandchildren are not eligible.
  • Students may apply for more than on ENF scholarship; however, they may win only one. In cases where the student qualifies for more than one, they will be awarded the scholarship with the greater value.
  • Applicants must have taken the ACT by 12/31/11.

  • Applicants need to be a son or daughter of a teacher or administrator from the Northwest Region of the Missouri State Teachers Association who plans to attend NWMSU.
  • Preference will be given to those applicants ranking in the upper 1/3 of their high school graduating class.

  • Applicants must be maintaining a 2.5 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale and have a family adjusted gross income of $50,000 or less.
  • Students must be planning to attend a four-year college or university.
  • Scholarship awards will cover the cost of tuition, plus approximately $2,000 to cover the cost of fees, books, and supplies.
  • Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor's degree is earned, whichever occurs first.

Alumni Scholars Program - University of Missouri February 1, 2012
  • Four-year renewable awards ranging from $500 to $5,000
  • To be eligible, students must have applied and be accepted to Mizzou and include your MU student number with the application.
  • Applicants must be in the top 20% of the class or achieve a minimum of 26 on the ACT.
  • Students must enroll in 12 credit hours each semester and achieve a minimum GPA of 2.75 during the Fall semester of your freshman year.

Clear, Cayhoga, Muddy Creek Scholarship (NWMSU) February 1, 2012
  • Eligible recipients of the Clear, Cayhoga, Muddy Creeks Scholarship must be Missouri residents currently residing in the district previously known and designated as the Clear, Cayhoga, Muddy Creeks Watershed District. This former watershed district includes a small portion of the North Nodaway R-Vl School District.
  • Eligible recipients shall be incoming Northwest freshman who maintain a minimum of 2.0 cumulative high school GPA.
  • Eligible recipients shall have demonstrated good school and community citizenship, and all other factors being equal, financial need may be the determining factor in the selection of recipients.

NIAAA Student Athlete Scholarship February 29, 2012
  • One male and one female athlete have the opportunity for each to receive a $1,000 scholarship.  There is also a possibility to advance to the national level for a chance at a $2,000 scholarship.
  • Applicant must have achieved at least two (2) of the following:
    • (a) minimum of B+ average;
      (b) ranked in the top 25% of class;
      (c) ACT score of 24 or an SAT score of 1100 (Verbal and Math only)
